In this course, you will learn about the roles and responsibilities of a non-profit board, public trust, board decision-making, policy development, financial and human resource management, and community relations. After completion, students will have a knowledge of the operational and management aspects of a museum/gallery environment, and will be able to effectively operate and contribute to the administration of a cultural organization. This course is one of the ten required classes needed for the completion of the Museums Association of Saskatchewan Certificate in Museum Studies Program.
