Sask Lotteries Community Grant Program (SL-CGP)

The Sask Lotteries Community Grant Program assists non-profit, volunteer-led community organizations developing impactful and innovative sport, culture and recreation programs that meet the needs of the local community.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE AT THE SASK LOTTERIES TRUST OFFICE BY FEBRUARY 27TH, 2026

Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant (ICSDG)

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 30 AND OCTOBER 31 ANNUALLY
*The spring deadline has been moved to an earlier date to ensure accessibility of this funding for spring sports.

The purpose of the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program (ICSGP) is to provide greater sport participation and development opportunities for Indigenous youth in Saskatchewan.  The program will assist and support the implementation of organized community sport programs to increase sport opportunities for youth in the Aboriginal community, specifically in urban, rural, on-reserve, isolated and northern communities. Facility Operator Support Program (FOSP)

FUNDING HAS BEEN FULLY ALLOCATED.
INTAKE IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 1st.

The purpose of the Rivers West District for Sport, Culture & Recreation Inc. Facility Operator Support Program is to provide financial assistance and support to organizations, communities and individuals to attend training and educational opportunities specific to the operation and management of recreational facilities within the boundaries of Rivers West District.

Coaching Assistance Program (CAP)

FUNDING HAS BEEN FULLY ALLOCATED.
INTAKE IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 1st.

This program was developed to assist Rivers West District members/coaches with the costs involved in upgrading their skills and knowledge.

Play, Create, Participate Grant (PCPG)

THIS NEW GRANT IS LAUNCHING IN APRIL 2026!
IT WILL REPLACE THE MOBILE PLAYGROUND GRANT

The Play, Create, Participate Grant is designed to help youth in Rivers West District communities access new opportunities to be active, creative, and engaged. Funding supports projects that encourage participation, skill development, and hands-on experiences in sport, culture, and recreation.

Event and Partnership Building Program (EPBP)

The Rivers West Event and Partnership Building Grant provides up to $500 to help member organizations host inclusive sport, culture, or recreation events within the District.
