Celebrating Those Who Make a Difference

A Rivers West Community Champion is someone who has made a meaningful contribution of their time, energy and passion to sport, culture or recreation, creating a positive impact in a community within our District.

Recipients of this award will be recognized through an informal presentation, social media recognition and a $200 donation to support the organization or group they are involved with.

The awards will be as follows:

• Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 19-25, 2026) – Three (3) Volunteer Recognition Awards- one for each category, Sport, Culture and Recreation

• National Health & Fitness Day (June 6, 2026) – One (1) Outstanding Fitness Leader Award

• Dream Broker Service Provider Award (June 2026) – Nominated by Rivers West District Dream Broker
• Drowning Prevention Week (3rd week of July) – One (1) Pool/Lifeguard Recognition Award

• Coaches Week (Sept 15-21, 2026) – One (1) Outstanding Coach Award
