Rivers West District would like to congratulate and thank Koralie Mack, recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Coach Community Champion Award!

This award recognizes Koralie’s meaningful contribution of time, energy, and passion to sport and celebrates the positive impact she has made on athletes and within her community. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to encouraging and supporting others are truly appreciated and deserving of this recognition.

Koralie is a dedicated community wrestling coach who has made a lasting impact on young athletes in Unity and Wilkie. A former provincial medalist herself, she has given back to the sport that shaped her by investing countless hours in developing, encouraging, and supporting the next generation of wrestlers. As a co-coach, she has helped guide her teams to an impressive seven provincial boys’ and girls’ team championships.

Koralie’s commitment extends far beyond competition. Living in Unity, she travels to Wilkie two to three times each week for practices, often covering her own travel expenses. She also gives up many weekends with her family to accompany athletes to tournaments, again taking on many of the costs herself.

At practice, Koralie doesn’t simply coach from the sidelines—she gets right onto the mat. Whether demonstrating techniques, working one-on-one with an athlete, or stepping in as a training partner when numbers or weight classes don’t match up, she leads by example. Her willingness to put in the same effort she asks of her athletes demonstrates the work ethic, resilience, and dedication she hopes to instill in them.

Koralie’s passion for wrestling and genuine commitment to the athletes she coaches have strengthened the wrestling program and positively influenced the young people involved.
