SafeTALK is a suicide prevention workshop that teaches people how to recognize the signs that someone may be thinking about suicide, confidently start a conversation, and connect them with appropriate support.
At the workshop people will learn simple, powerful steps to recognize signs of suicide, start the conversation and connect someone to further support.
More specifically people will: •Learn to notice and respond to invitations for help •Practice open, direct conversations about suicide •Build confidence to connect someone with further care and support •Explore how your attitudes and beliefs can affect your ability to help •Work together in a safe, supportive environment with other who care about making a difference
