On June 30, 2023, the Honourable Laura Ross, Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport, launched the 125 for 125 Initiative to encourage communities to celebrate and protect Saskatchewan’s history through the designation of Municipal Heritage Property. The goal is to have 125 new designations by the time Saskatchewan celebrates its
125th anniversary in 2030.
